Cove x Anantha Café x Kiyocha: Matcha Workshop

On Saturday, November 29, 2025as much 25 participants gather at Anantha Cafe to follow Matcha Workshop special with Cove, Anantha Café, and Kiyocha.

This workshop presents a relaxed but enthusiastic atmosphere. With venue support from Anantha Cafetools and materials from What kindCoveys can learn directly from the experts and experiment with making their own matcha.

Learn Matcha with the Experts

The session started with an in-depth explanation from the owner What kindwhich discusses what matcha is, its quality, aroma, characteristics of good matcha powder, and how to choose the right matcha for various needs.

Participants were invited to understand the basic techniques for making matcha before entering the practical session.

Technique Exploration & Drink Demo

After the introduction session, the owner Kiyocha did demo of four types of drinks using different techniques. Participants can pay attention to each step, starting from the whisking method, setting the ratio of ingredients, to how to combine matcha with other elements so that the taste remains balanced.

Practical Session: Coveys Matcha Creation

The most eagerly awaited: participants finally try making their own matcha!By using ceremonial matcha powder from Kiyochaeach participant is free to be creative. Adjust the thickness, taste and serving style according to individual tastes.

The workshop atmosphere was warm and exciting as the Coveys shared tips, compared whisking results, and documented their creations.

In closing, all participants were given Hojicha Drink which is made directly by the owner Kiyocha, while enjoying desserts from Anantha Cafe.

After that, the session closed with group photofollowed by division goodie bags from Cove as a sweet memento of that day’s workshop.

This Matcha Workshop is not only about learning to make drinks, but also about exploring taste, creativity and the togetherness that is created throughout the event.
